  1. alrighty just re installed and it's all good. thanks anyways tho
  2. actually when i open a new project and record any midi info, it automatically stops when it hits the first note
  3. *as soon as it catches a midi note, no matter which track, it stops
  4. Alright, I tried that and i'm going one by one because i tried importing them all without importing project settings. However it still did the same thing. I'm going one by one and it starts doing this problem when A part from one of the software sampler instruments starts. Any suggestions?
  5. yaya when i open a new project or anything, it works fine. I tried importing all the project settings from an empty project but it didn't work
  6. now the playhead doesn't even move when i try to play
  7. No it's not like a cycle around one file, if you go anywhere and do anything it does this. It for some reason saved this setting to every project backup
  8. what happens is when i press the spacebar or the play button, it actually goes back by about a second
  9. So randomly in my project, i might have accidentally clicked something or pressed a short cut, but whenever i try to play it, it only plays for a second and then stops. I tried looking at the stop and play buttons on the transport bar and i set them to their default settings but it still does this. It plays back when i press record but it won't even play when i use a cycle or anything. Any solutions/suggestions?!?
  10. thanks man, i was on logic 8 for so long that i forgot about flex time
  11. hey so i'm doing a remix and i wanna change the tempo from dubstep (140bpm) to drumstep (172bpm). I'm just using the global tempo on the transport bar and it changes the tempo for the softwar instruments but all my audio samples still stay at 140. How can i change these in logic without affecting pitch?
  12. Alrighty so these are electronic projects which lack acoustic instruments so the information is 80% midi. After I've worked on a project for a couple weeks, the cpu load gets suppper high and it starts to lag and system overloads occur. How do i clean up the project so it decreases? There aren't a lot of samples in the bin either.
  13. hey ppl, so i've got a problem with my sm57 on my snare, no matter what i do (change the gain, move it around, etc etc etc) whenever i play the hi hat with the snare the mic bleeds wayyy too much into the high hat which interfere's with the snare sound so much that it covers it up and i can't eq it properly, i tried using an expander but it didn't have much effect. Any suggestions in terms of positions or anything else? (i've heard the term spot micing but i don't exactly know how to go about it)
  14. hey guys, so i have a problem, i don't have the money for some high end kick drum mic and any free samples i can find just don't cut it. Does anyone have any good hard acoustic kick samples such as the kick drum from EZdrummer??
