  1. Hi all, I'm able to change incoming MIDI notes on all of my other patches, but I'm trying to load a new .cst and when I try to map a MIDI note I just get a distorted sound and the note played is the set MIDI note from the external drum pad. Any reason why I can't change this or know what to do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  2. I don't have my older version of the program so I don't think that will be possible unfortunately. I'll have to check on the version they have. Not sure atm.
  3. Hi. I'm currently on LPX.5 and I'm working with someone that's on LPX. They are not able to open my files and I don't see any way to save down a version. Is it even possible to work between the 2 versions?
  4. Thanks Dewdman42. Yeah, I hope there's an update soon and those feature are included. I'd really like to use these tools in LP and not have to create complete workarounds in M3 to be able to perform it, doubling the work. I tried saving it the DMD as a patch and then opening it into Mainstage, but I get an error that the q-sampler isn't available so it doesn't load. Thanks for looking into this and the suggestions.
  5. Thanks for the reply. I figured that would be the case. Another thing I came across with the Drum Machine Designer is that I try to save the channel strip setting and then reopen it in a new song in LPX, but it doesn't load the kit that I made. I saved the .cst into my folder and it shows up, but doesn't call up the DMD instrument once imported into my track.
  6. I've been impressed with the new features and would think that you'd be able to use these with MS3 as well, but it seems that's not the case. For example, I created a Drum Machine Designer instrument and was hoping to bring that into MS3, but it doesn't load because DMD isn't an available feature yet. Since LPX got rid of the EXS24, how would you use channel strip settings between both programs?
  7. Hi. I'm just trying to create a simple audio track and can't hear any audio unless I press record. The level is coming through fine, but I can't hear anything. The track signal looks fine, but the stereo output 1-2 isn't showing a signal coming through. ???
  8. Sorry for the late response, but do you really have to manually drag and stretch the MIDI region to match the same tempo? There's no other way to automatically import the MIDI region with saved tempo data? I'm transferring over drum tracks to a new template, same tempo and don't want to stretch every little MIDI region when I've already done that programming. That is incredibly tedious.
  9. I'm importing a MIDI file from Logic Pro 9 to LPX and the MIDI file isn't syncing with the tempo of the new project. WTH? I've tried selecting both 'No' & 'Import Tempo'... which if I did select 'Import Tempo' would be the same tempo in both projects, and the MIDI file still doesn't sync. It's sped up double-time. How do I fix this issue? Thanks.
  10. It's actually Amplitube 3 that is causing the issue with the output device. Not Izotope, but I'll have to contact them as well about that message. If I don't use Amplitube 3 the problem goes away.
  11. Message before crash: 'The plug-in names "Stutter E" isn't available on your system. Choose another plug-in, or quite MainStage 3 and install the plug-in on your computer in order to use it in the project." Message after crash: "MainStage 3 quite unexpectedly while using the Amplitube 3 plug-in." I've upgraded to Amplitube 4 but have not switched over every instance of Amp 3 yet so it seems that Amplitube 3 actually the cause of the issue.
  12. Hi. I'm having an issue where Logic Pro X crashes when I change to my interface output device. I get the message that the Izotope plugin StutterEdit is causing the issue. I've checked the Isotope site and see that it should be compatible with LPX. Anyone had this issue or something similar? And if so, do you know how to fix it?
  13. Hi. I'm working with a project in Logic that was sent to me and has a tempo of 125 and I've set the same tempo in MainStage but I'm having issues trying to make them match. MS is still slower than Logic. Why would that be? I have sync to tempo on both but it's still not matching up.
  14. Hi. I'm trying load a channel strip setting I saved from MainStage 3 into Logic Pro 9 and nothing happens. It shows up in the cst library, but won't load when clicked. Anyone have this issue before?
  15. Yes, I've tried that and I'm still not getting the strike hit data to sound a note from the synth. I've talked with their support and was able to find a solution using transformers via this link: /viewtopic.php?t=60540. That works great for Logic, but I'm trying to trigger this synth in MainStage with the Mandala Drums, but MS doesn't have the environment window to create these paths and settings. Is this achievable in MS?
