It's a great app if you're interested in acoustics but you need to calibrate your system and there is some learning to be done.
Google « room eq wizard » REW (sorry I don’t have the url right now). It also has a room simulation app where you can change the placement of your speakers and your listening position.
I bought a Line 6 HX Stomp XL that I like and I was offered a good deal for Helix Native. I just started using it and I’m sure I can get some good sounds out of it. You just have to work at it.
I have some of the transport commands ( play, stop, record) set to be controlled by à MIDI device (Logidy umi3) other than my Impact49 which work without problem. Maybe that affects the Nektar integration? Like des99 is saying, the problem doesn’t only happen at startup.
I have a lowly Impact GX49 that I used for basic MIDI commands that Logic understands already so I don't really need the full Nektar/Logic integration. I am running Ventura on a M1 mini so my solution suits me fine for now.
Thank you all for the information and support!
Thanks Cappy for the info, I always have the advanced features of Logic on so that does not change anything for me. But I haven't tried the latest version of Logic with my Nectar controller. I will check it out.
I agree with you David about room treatment instead of eq. REW gives you all the tools for room acoustics and it’s not for amateurs. It’s free by the way (donations are accepted)
Drummer seems to be optimized for binary beats (4/4, 2/4,...). I can only advise to change drummer, try a 3/8 beat maybe, use the follow feature or not, use the 1/2 time setting. You have to work at it in 3/4 as you can see.
