  1. hey, thanks, im running Logic Pro 8 - 8.0.2 (1502.22) on a MacBookPro 10.5.8
  2. thanks David, yea as I said in the first post I tried the split by playhead. As shown in the new image, it just copies the regions and overlaps on the 32 position, but it does not split the region (I removed the top region that I used split region by playhead and left the bottom two to show you) it just simply overlaps. I can split in 16ths no problem.
  3. Hi im working on a remix, copy and pasting multiple midi regions, and I am able to trim to 16ths, but not trim to 32nths. I have tried the split region by playhead in at the 32nth position, but it does not work. Any ideas? Here is an image....
  4. I was looking at the AWS 900+ but I cannot find the price for it.
  5. I am looking to spend around $60,000.00 for a console in a professional studio. Is there something that in addition to being a good sounding console, also has the ability to act as a control for logic?
  6. I have my Roland 700sx running USB into Logic. I can play all of the software instruments, but can't figure out how to play the internal sounds that come with the Roland 700sx. I even tried selecting GM device, and im not sure what that is exactly. Any ideas?
  7. oh man, thanks for all the advice guys. I think im gonna take out to a movie, cause she loves rap music so I wanna take her to see notorious. I know movies are a bad idea usually, but I think I will sneak in a bottle of whiskey and we will drink it in there. I just want a nice casual night. Oh yea, im gonna tell her all about logic. j/k ok maybe just a bit....
  8. I asked this girl out that I met, and I need some ideas to take her out on a date. Im not used to dating and s#!+ so Im a bit of a nervous wreck. f*%@ what do I do?
  9. hehehehe that probably their inspiration, did you see he selection wheel?
  10. I just put this on youtube. I screw up a little bit. but its kinda neat. me playing marty friedman
  11. My disk is 90% full. And I have many tracks, instruments, and effects running. many!
  12. Ah! Eureka! Thats why the pros turn their heads sideways while singing! Much easier than moving away from a condenser. I will experiment with the automation. Perhaps the Adaptive Limiter may help? And is that -6 db to -12 db headroom above my loudest note? Thx BTW
  13. Ok, so I get some peaking when belting out loud notes, even though the breathy falsettos are where I want them. even with compression I can't revive something peaked. Must I turn down the gain on the preamp? It doesn't seam to pick up the beauty of the voice where I would need it to be. Where should the gain generally be on the pre amp? Should i record separate tracks if there is so much dynamic?
