  1. im desperate lol, I tried everything.. let me explain. I bought an M32. I tried Komplete control plug in and it does weird things to my M1 since its only intel version ! really NI ?? so I use logic and have set up the controls successfully . no browser / plug in / track buttons lights up and it works under template 1 in midid but suddenly now when I turn on the keyboard and start logic the track light comes on and the midi does not work. yes if I use Komplete control plug in it works, but I do not want to use this until its universal. I get around this problem by selecting bypass all midi, then open set up ... I have to do this a few times before the track light goes out and I have full midi control. I was wondering if anyone with a Mac knows what's happening ? I did try adding m32 under set up, but this didn't do anything to help. I did delete the com.apple.logic.pro.cs a few times but this did not turn off the track light on the m32... is there a folder that stores the turn on track by default at launching logic ? any ideas ? its just bugging the heck out of me since sometimes track light does not turn on ..and sometimes it does on logic start up .. also I had a aka max49 kbrd. but sold it for the m32 .. but the akai option in midi select is still there greyed out, where is this stored so it disappears ? I'm just curious about this .. it makes no real difference. when I plugged in the m32 for the first time and since, logic has never asked if I would like to use m32 alert thanks
  2. thanks for the answer, i think ive always wondered if it was possible since it was possible with cubase before i changed to logic like 16 years ago lol !!! thanks
  3. HI great forum here! ive searched here and on google but i cant find an answer to my question. probably because its not possible, but i thought id ask here to get a definitive answer what i want to do is play a pad chord using say esx24 then press play in logic to start the drums etc and not have logic cut off the esx24 notes that i play before pressing play .. i hope this makes sense .. basically playing a pad chord on my keyboard then pressing play to have drums on top .. kinda like a live thing ... i just wondered if theres a way or option to have logic not send turn all notes off when you press play etc thanks in advance Ant UK
  4. hi i have a problem i hope you may be able to help with.. I have logic 9 and novation x-station kbd on mbp i want to control cutoff etc on a instrument plug in called nexus . so i have been able to set all the controls to effect the nexus .. alls great there but heres the problem .. all the controls on set up page i have set in the input message as "x station" great .. but when i unplug my x station and use logic on my mbp with no x station, then re hook up my x station it sees the x station and changes the core audio etc but when i look at the controller set up it is either back to 'any' and doesnt work with the x station or recently its coming up saying caps lock input ??!! i dont have the caps lock activated in prefs .. so each time i haveto go thru every control line and select x station !! which works but is a pain do you know what im doing wrong ? is there a setting in the x station that when connected tells logic to go to caps lock or isnt telling logic x station is connected for controlling ? it didnt used to give the caps lock option .. just xstation and any (any doesnt work .. has to be xstation) im stumped and i thought your way of doing modes etc might work .. but i get the same problem.. ive looked everywhere on google ... help !! lol thanks ant uk
