  1. I just got my CS12 yesterday and I have to say I'm really impressed so far. The build quality is nice and it fits perfectly on my desktop. I also have an Icon P1 Nano and it is just....meh. I am excited to see how the CS12 will integrate with Bitwig when they finally get around to working on that integration.
  2. I was still using my 18i8 1st Gen from when I bought it in 2013. The only reason I upgraded to the Gen 3 is loopback capabiliuty was added. I didn't need it back in 2013, but I need it now. My 1st Gen was performing with no issues on my M1 Max laptop.
  3. What's the fuss? They don't want to run Rosetta on their machine. I totally get it. All non native software has gotten the boot off of my computer because I want to run everything in native code. Let them run their computer they way they want to, for gods sake.
  4. It is. I've DL it and checked it in the system report. It's Universal
  5. Vital version 1.5.1 pre release is M1 native. PaulStretch is now M1 native.
  6. I got the 1TB internal w/ 32GB of memory and I'm very happy. Keep in mind I don't use huge sample libraries, so ymmv. I have not run into any issues with the sample libraries that I do use.
  7. The only plugin I use from them is not yet M1 Native. Go figure, lol. It's Thorn. I asked about M1 native compatibility for Thorn and they said "hopefully" soon.
  8. Arturia just updated all of their FX to be M1 Native. I just had a huge update in the Arturia Software Center app.
  9. 2C audio is "mostly" compatible under Rosetta. There are some issues with preset saving, and authorization (reading from clipboard is blocked by the system). The authorization issue should be solved within 2-3 weeks of the time of this post. M1 native compatibility is being worked on, there is no ETA, because they have to rewrite their vector code. This was in a response from Denis in an email I sent him asking about Rosetta/Native compatibility.
  10. Arturia V collection Synths and Pigments are M1 native. The FX collections are compatible under Rosetta with native M1 coming next year. https://www.arturia.com/faq/utilization/compatibility-with-m1-processors
  11. Hey Ashermusic, what monitor are you using? When the M2 Minis come out I'm planning on making the jump.
  12. Massive X also cannot run because of its AVX dependencies
  13. NI just updated a bunch of FX to Rosetta2 compatibility Solid Mix Series: Solid Bus Comp, Solid Dynamic, Solid EQ Reverb Classics: RC 24, RC 48 Vintage Compressors: VC 160, VC 2A, VC 76 Premium Tube Series: Enhanced EQ, Passive EQ, Vari Comp Driver Supercharger, Supercharger GT Transient Master
  14. I was so angry at Apple, I had just sold my Mac Classic to get a Color Classic, back in the day. Then the Power PC Macs came out, and I was obsolete. Since I spent so much money on my computer, I couldn't afford another one so soon. At least I didn't have to buy a keyboard or mouse with it, lol. After years adrift in the land of Microsoft, I finally came back. I think I have enough life left in my iMac to last me until I can get a Mac with the second gen M chip.
  15. Agreed, I've had my Legacy Edition all the way back when I had it packaged with the mini MS20 controller. They've kept me up an running to present day, in spite of myself, lol. Just for S+G I plugged in my mini MS20 controller, and it still works!
