  1. Ok - I thought I had deleted all the controllers. Turns out I deleted the devices from Control Surfaces -> Setup, but needed to go to Control Surfaces -> Controller Assignments and delete things there as well. Problem solved! Something must have changed between versions, because I never had this issue before. But I appreciate the help!
  2. It doesn't stop it, but it prevents it from happening again when I load a different project after starting Logic. I have to change patches to stop the note from playing though. Is there a way to have it as default off? It doesn't save the setting.
  3. Same kind of issue, but with a Kronos. Just posted this:
  4. I've been away from my keyboard and Logic since about April. I fired it up recently and am having an issue where Logic is sending note on messages immediately when loading a previous project, or even creating something from a blank template. Messages are also sent when selecting a new track. When playing, there are some notes that send a pan-center command back (but only when holding) otherwise notes are panned left. Currently running Logic Pro 10.7.3, macOS Big Sur 11.6.8 on a MacBook Pro 16-inch, 2019 - i do not know what I was running OS and Logic-wise back in April. It probably wasn't the very latest. My keyboard is a Korg Kronos 88 connected via USB Midi to Mac. I have local control off (but it doesn't matter if it is on). Any ideas on what is going on and how I can stop it? It's making Logic unusable. No issues like this with Garageband. I thought it might be control surfaces, but I just deleted them all and no change. I don't have another keyboard I can use to see if I can replicate it. When playing on the keyboard, A4 causes the track to pan based on velocity, but then it immediately goes hard left when released. Playing G6 starts the playhead at various points depending on velocity A6 turns on and off the Cycle repeat Using Midi Monitor, here is what happens when I start up Logic and it loads the last file (any file). 11:59:46.608 To KRONOS SOUND Note Off 1 A3 0 11:59:46.608 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 1 (fine) 0 11:59:46.608 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 2 (fine) 0 11:59:46.608 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 3 (fine) 0 11:59:46.608 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 2 (fine) 0 11:59:46.608 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 4 (fine) 0 11:59:46.608 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 1 (fine) 0 11:59:46.608 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 Controller 52 0 11:59:46.619 To KRONOS SOUND Note Off 1 G5 0 11:59:46.619 To KRONOS SOUND Note Off 1 A3 0 11:59:46.619 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 1 (fine) 0 11:59:46.619 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 2 (fine) 0 11:59:46.619 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 3 (fine) 0 11:59:46.619 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 2 (fine) 0 11:59:46.619 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 4 (fine) 0 11:59:46.619 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 1 (fine) 0 11:59:46.619 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 Controller 52 0 11:59:46.619 To KRONOS SOUND SysEx Korg 6 bytes F0 42 30 68 00 F7 11:59:46.620 To KRONOS SOUND Invalid 1 bytes 11:59:46.620 To KRONOS SOUND SysEx Korg 31 bytes F0 42 30 68 38 01 40 47 4A 59 22 1F 06 6D 00 6B 2A 56 30 16 57 5A 49 37 5E 4D 02 4A 28 1A F7 11:59:46.620 To KRONOS SOUND Note Off 1 A5 0 11:59:46.620 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 1 (fine) 0 11:59:46.620 To KRONOS SOUND Note Off 1 G5 0 11:59:47.614 To KRONOS SOUND Note On 1 A3 64 11:59:47.614 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 1 (fine) 0 11:59:47.614 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 2 (fine) 0 11:59:47.614 To KRONOS SOUND Note On 1 G5 10 11:59:47.614 To KRONOS SOUND Note On 1 A3 64 11:59:47.614 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 1 (fine) 0 11:59:47.614 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 2 (fine) 0 11:59:47.614 To KRONOS SOUND SysEx Korg 6 bytes F0 42 30 68 7F F7 11:59:47.614 To KRONOS SOUND Invalid 1 bytes 11:59:47.614 To KRONOS SOUND SysEx Korg 31 bytes F0 42 30 68 38 01 40 47 4A 59 22 1F 06 6D 00 6B 2A 56 30 16 57 5A 49 37 5E 4D 02 4A 28 1A F7 11:59:47.615 To KRONOS SOUND Note On 1 A5 127 11:59:47.615 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 1 (fine) 0 11:59:47.630 To KRONOS SOUND Note Off 1 G5 0 11:59:47.630 To KRONOS SOUND Note On 1 A3 64 11:59:47.630 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 1 (fine) 0 11:59:47.630 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 2 (fine) 0 11:59:47.630 To KRONOS SOUND Note On 1 G5 10 11:59:47.630 To KRONOS SOUND Note On 1 A3 64 11:59:47.630 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 1 (fine) 0 11:59:47.630 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 2 (fine) 0 11:59:47.630 To KRONOS SOUND Note On 1 A3 64 11:59:47.630 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 1 (fine) 0 11:59:47.630 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 2 (fine) 0 11:59:47.630 To KRONOS SOUND Note On 1 G5 10 11:59:47.630 To KRONOS SOUND Note On 1 A3 64 11:59:47.630 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 1 (fine) 0 11:59:47.630 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 2 (fine) 0 11:59:47.630 From KRONOS KEYBOARD SysEx Korg 7 bytes F0 42 30 68 24 02 F7 12:00:15.708 To KRONOS SOUND Note Off 1 G5 0 12:00:15.708 To KRONOS SOUND Note Off 1 A3 0 12:00:15.708 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 1 (fine) 0 12:00:15.708 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 2 (fine) 0 12:00:15.708 To KRONOS SOUND SysEx Korg 6 bytes F0 42 30 68 00 F7 12:00:15.708 To KRONOS SOUND Invalid 1 bytes 12:00:15.708 To KRONOS SOUND SysEx Korg 31 bytes F0 42 30 68 38 01 40 47 4A 59 22 1F 06 6D 00 6B 2A 56 30 16 57 5A 49 37 5E 4D 02 4A 28 1A F7 12:00:15.708 To KRONOS SOUND Note Off 1 A5 0 12:00:15.708 To KRONOS SOUND Control 1 General Purpose 1 (fine) 0 12:00:15.708 To KRONOS SOUND Note Off 1 G5 0
  5. I am trying to create 1 or 2 page scores as cheat-sheets for songs in a cover band. I have created a full score for a song (right and left hand). I've named the regions like I would want "Intro", "Organ Verse 1" "Chorus" etc. I use the Score editor to insert the region name when displaying just the region I want and I can use the text tool to insert a "REGION" text which shows the correct information. However, when I go up to the full score view (to see all tracks on the score), the region names are replaced with the song name. Is this a bug? Can I get my full score to show the appropriate region names throughout the full score?
