  1. Actually, I think the user presets are in a different folder so may work. How would I do this?
  2. Right, but then, am I not able to save my own presets in there?
  3. Right? Something when opening a new instance of the plugin automatically populates the presets again.
  4. I use plugin alliance SSL 9000J a lot in Logic. It comes with a long list of presets included. I want to delete these, so I'm going into their associated folder in Library / Audio / Presets / PA... etc.. .both User / Library and system Library. Delete the presets, and they are gone inside an open SSL plugin immediately. But when I open a new instance of the SSL plugin, they repopulate and put the presets back into those folders. Any way to have this not happen?
  5. ya that's annoying, hopefully they sort this out
  6. Well, I really dont' wanna turn off autosave as it's saved my ass many times. Shoot. Why is this only an issue in Native mode, not rosetta? There's autosave in Rosetta too?
  7. Anyone else having these maddening issues in 10.8.1 (many been around a bit) with a Apple Silicon / Native logic... - plugin GUI's do not open on insert (yes that setting is enabled). Some do, many don't. have to manually "re-click" on the plugin once inserted - plugins take a lot longer to load than in the old intel days. like, I can feeeeeel them waiting to load up. couple second delay often - periodic lags when using plugins. I think it's many dif companies, but for sure Fabfilter and UAD Spark ones... You drag a knob... freezes up for a couple seconds, then snaps back and jumps to where your mouse landed. I've send feedback to logic a number of times. It's maddening. I'm on Ventura. it doesn't feel like this is an OS thing... Anyone on Sonoma that's not having these issues? (or anyone not having these issues in general) I'd love to sort out what's causing this. Is it a logic thing. A UAD thing somehow. These issues seem to go away when using Rosetta mode.
  8. OMG, when did they do this?????? Thank you!!!! Jesus this has been driving me MAD
  9. Sure, I will post 2x cuz it's not allowing me to upload more... 4 screenshots, in order.... 1) unquanztied (how I played it) 2) quantized to the 16th note (see it snaps to 8ths) 3) quantized to 32nd note (finally snaps to 16ths) 4) trying to then use "swing"... moves random notes instead of the proper 16th note back... the issue being, you have to switch back to 16ths, but then, see number 2... everything snaps back to 8ths.
  10. I just reported this to logic. It's a huge issue / bug since 10.8. And it is not related to "swing" amount. It also breaks using "swing"... Cuz you have to set the value to 32nd notes in order to properly quantize 16th notes... but then, when you add swing to that, it throws everything completely out of whack.
  11. Anyone else still have the plugin window bug in 10.8? (plugins SOMETIMES won't open GUI on insert... sometimes they do... and "command w" to close plugins works sometimes... sometimes it doesn't, even if you have 100% clicked on / selected the plugin.) This has been around for a while now, well before 10.8. Reported to logic.
  12. M1 Pro MacBook Pro. Honestly ventura rocks. If you are holding back, don't. It's much nicer than Monterey. Feels twice as stable / fast to me, and I thought Monterey was pretty good.
  13. Happy to report I upgraded to Ventura and it's awesome... much snappier than Monterey if anyone is concerned. All plugins and apps working great.
  14. Ya ignore that. I'm only talking about Tremolo timing. Ok, amazing. This has been an issue since 10.6.2. I may have to jump for Ventura or Sonoma asap. This bug KILLS me, since, as you build up a track, the timing of time based FX goes further and further out, so you constantly have to be aware and adjust offset. Brutal. This is awesome. Thanks
  15. I'll put this here as well.... Can someone download and test if the Tremelo plugin is still out of time? or is it now perfectly on the grid / lined up with the click? (of course I'm meaning someone with 10.8 installed) https://www.dropbox.com/s/th28500ke2lk5ge/LPX 10.7.2 Timing Issue Still.zip?dl=0
