David Nahmani
Here's a simple template to use the Arpeggio object. I have created a MIDI Region with 4 chords on the Arpeggio track, and the arpeggio object is cabled into Inst 1, which plays the ES2 through a Guitar Amp Pro. With tweaking you can actually get it to sound like Satriani or Vai or Van Halen doing some crazy tapping riff! Arpeggio.lso.zip

ChrisHipgrave
I am having trouble recording a track with the arpeggio on it? Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you
David Nahmani
You have to cable the output of the arpeggio object into the sequencer input: Option-click the little triangle on the right of the arpeggio and select the 'Click & Ports' layer, then the 'sequencer input', or in some versions 'to recording & thru' object. Needs2Know
thanks Dave I was trying to get the Arp working after careflully following the "Logic 105 Logic Environment Explored" mac video tutorial. I couldnt figure out what i was doing wrong. opened your templet and the templet was working fine but still couldnt get mine to work. then i started messing around with parameters in the Object box of the Arp track and it all of a sudden started working. i was getting a sort of solid (anoiying) hum before but now im getting the right sound. i dont know what i did lol. musick
The arp only works when Logic is in play.... Could it be that?
David Nahmani
That's normal, it uses Logic's sequencer for its timing.
