anamorphis
No Autoplay function in the browser? That sucks... L7 had this, and now that we have the browser right next to the arrangement, there's no way to autoplay files? Finding samples is a pain this way... choose sample, click speaker button... choose sample, click speaker button... choose sample, click speaker button... choose sample, click speaker button... choose sample, click speaker button... choose sample, click speaker button... choose sample, click speaker button... I know... it's anoying! So is the fact that we need to do it... Hope it's solved on the next version update. Or am I missing something? David Nahmani
You can still do it the L7 way: from the Bin, choose Audio File > Add Audio File(s) or press Control-F.

Yeah, but I'm talking about the Browser tab, every time I click on a file to prelisten before importing to the project, I have to click on the little speaker button. That's what I think shoul be reviewd next version update, so that we simply click the audio file and it plays right away. Any tricks fo this? Thanks tho. David Nahmani
I know, I gave you an alternative you can use instead of using the Browser tab for the same goal of previewing and importing audio files to your project, where autoplay works. It would indeed be nice if it worked in the Browser though, agreed!
rob glow
choose sample, click speaker button... You can also use spacebar as a shortcut to play the selected sample. Still not as quick as autoplay, but MUCH quicker than having to click the tiny speaker button Then it's more like choose sample, press spacebar. hellleutel
BTW for browsing I highly recommend Icedaudio's Audiofinder program, it's the Tool that is permanently running here together with Logic.
debolish
I second the Audiofinder suggestion - it has become a time saving intergral part of my workflow. Would be hard to work without it.
Mehdi
I was wondering the same for auditionnig files. Audiofinder looks nice, but wow 70$ for previewing files is a bit expensive to me. Is there any free alternative to it? Hopefully? .... Edit : Just saw previewing files is free AudioFinder has two user levels:-> Level 1 basic sound browsing is FREE. -> Level 2 advanced features requires a donation.
