Hi there.
I am not completely sure on how to do this so i would like if someone told me that this way is correct.
To connect a Nord Rack to my audio interface and my computer i need a 2x jack to 2x jack and 2 midi cables. The 2x jack to 2x jack goes from the synth to the line in in the audio interface (I use a Lexicon Omega), and then 1 midi cable from the keyboard to the synth, and the other from the keyboard to the audio interface.. Is this correct? Or am i wrong ?
Please answer as quick as possible, if you can -i need to buy cables tomorrow

No. 1 MIDI cable goes from your controller keyboard out to your interface in. Another MIDI cable goes from your interface out to your synth in.
Unless your controller is USB, then you only need one MIDI cable going to the synth from your interface. ________________________ "The sound of a harpsichord is like two skeletons copulating on a tin roof in a thunderstorm. "

My midi keyboard is a axiom pro 49 with usb, and the audio interface is a lexicon omega with usb, i don't know which one of them you mean ? So i only need 1 & 2 cables? From axium (keyboard) out to lexicon (audio interface) in, and the other from lexicon (audio interface) out to nord rack (synth) in ?
And the 2 x jack - 2 x jack is the correct cable to use? As i understand if i use jack - jack the sound is in mono ? ________________________ Logic 9.1.1, OS 10.6.3, Macbook, 2.2 GHZ intel core 2 duo, 2 GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM, 160GB standard harddrive, Korg Zero8 & Lexicon omega audio interface |

You need to decide which one you're going to use as your MIDI interface for the Synth. The Axiom or the Lexicon. You only need one MIDI cable going from one of them to the synth. You would need a second MIDI cable coming back from the synth if you wanted to do sysex dumps or had an editor for it loaded on your Mac.
As for your audio cabling, I have no idea what a "2 x jack" is. Do you mean TRS patch cables? ________________________ "The sound of a harpsichord is like two skeletons copulating on a tin roof in a thunderstorm. "

In denmark and other european contries its called a jack cable or 2 x jack cable, but yes its the same as a TRS patch / Dual TSR . Didn't know it was also named that. But am i correct with the cable then ?
