skilless
Is there any way to get a visual metronome on screen? I'm kinda used to the blinking lights on my practice metronome and it would be sweet to have something like them blinking on screen when I'm recording. shivermetimbers
You could put a TUNER insert on the Click Channel as a visual guide.
ChicoSatis
That's a REALLY good idea shiver. Good stuff.
paul agostinelli
there is also the obvious (but strangely unmentioned) select view all tracks in your mixer, then simply look at the klopfgeist track while it plays

David Nahmani
ok, so I am a newbee and have been trying to figure out how to select inst 256. Using logic express 9. Click the "All" button at the top right of your Mixer, then look for the Click channel strip in your Mixer.

David Nahmani
I'm fairly sure ski made a visual metronome in the environment a few years back? I can't seem to find it though.

vxt
Is there a plug-in with say, 4 LEDs, like traffic light but horizontal? I once saw a drummer using something like that. First LED is either bigger or a different colour. Sound metronomes are useless and very annoying I find.
shivermetimbers
Since light travels faster than sound, your timing would end up being off. So it is best to use a sound metronome when recording sound.

Ryan Weston
I'm having trouble loading the Ski's Color Click into a previously made project that I am finished with. I'm new to logic and I can not find how to access this feature for a finished project and not just open it into a new project. I use logic to play live and I only need a time reference in a few places in my songs, so I would prefer not to have a click running into my ears the whole time. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
rain7479
How about: Ski's Color Click? That was it! Thanks Eric. This is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks Ski if you're still here? I play drums to reamped guitar and bass into real amps and I don't like IEM's. P.S I shortened your midi notes by half for my own preference. I'll be using your color click project as a template from now on if you don't mind?

I have just one novice question...would it be easy to change the default colour? for example, from red to black or grey? Is it difficult? ski
Hi Rain, I haven't looked at this project in years. I've just downloaded it and I'm going to revamp a few things so that it's easier to use/figure out. Will post a new project (updated to Logic X) later today.
