Outrider Posted July 11, 2008 Share Posted July 11, 2008 I know this has been discussed, but I have a major problem with the slow/sluggish scrolling GUI on my Power Mac G5 PPC. I can get around the fact that they've flipped the up/down direction, but the sluggishness of the scroll speed has reached a point of seriously affecting my workflow, and is calling in question my decision to use LP8. Possible solutions? I've tried the QuartzGLEnabled command in the aforementioned post. No noticeable improvement. Any possibility a new graphics card will make a difference? ChicoSatis Posted July 11, 2008 Share Posted July 11, 2008 Hi I get the same sluggishness in my bigger projects. What I do is is put instruments in folders. Drums, guitars, bass, vox, keys etc. Then when I mix I open the folder and usually I don't have to scroll very little or not at all most of the time. I use the mixer tab for this purpose.
